A possible explanation for why right-wing nutjobs permeates talk radio. When you are driving you are emotional, tense, even angry. It’s not a time for thoughtful contemplation. So the bile that these idiots spew is well suited to that emotional state, which makes people receptive to their nonsense and easily manipulated by it.
